Halloween this year was a special gig for me. I got to play with the first person I ever saw cut it up on the 1’s and 2’s: The Legendary DJ JAZZY JEFF! Rolling with hypeman/MC (Mad) Skillz, they tore Halifax to shreds for ‘Haliween ‘09′. 1500 Haligonians (yes, that’s us) in full costume packed in to watch the magic happen. To wrap up the party, Jeff and I went back and forth on 4 turntables cutting up the Hashim electro classic “Al Naafiysh (The Soul)”. It was a gig that I’ll never forget and fan Romy Aquino captured some video of it. Check it out right here:
