It’s that time of year again. The Red Bull Thre3Style DJ competition is in full effect across the globe. Canada’s elimination heats are already underway, and we will not only have a big national final this year – Vancouver will be hosting the WORLD FINALS on December 17th.

As a “Thre3Style Ambassador“, I am happy to be taking part in judging and showcasing at the Thre3Style regionals again this year, along with Team Canada & Smalltown DJs in select cities. The Winnipeg stop last week was great – a super-live crowd to play for – rocked the best by DJ Hipnotic who took the title home in unprecedented style, actually proposing to his fiancee mid-set. Now that’s confidence. The week before, Smalltown DJs hosted the Edmonton and ever-tight Vancouver heats, with newcomer Creeasian taking E-town, and heavyweight and definite national contender DJ Hedspin taking Vancouver. Both advance to the Canadian finals in Toronto on November 12.
