Gail Asper has a long list of tools on her belt: lawyer, philanthropist, national campaign chair for the Friends of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and now, rapper.

On Thursday morning an unusual video of the prominent Winnipegger began circulating on Facebook and Twitter. In the nearly minute-long clip, Asper stands on the steps of the Manitoba legislature and busts out a rap she says she penned herself.

The folks at the popular Saturday morning program “Day 6″ (with host Brent Bambury) reached out to me to ask if I had heard Gail Asper’s “VoteAnyWay rap”. I hadn’t – here it is:
