((video)) – DJ Vajra – the 2011 DMC World Champion

Last Thursday in London, England, DJ Vajra took home the prestigious title of 2011 DMC World DJ Champion. The DMC competition has a storied history as the biggest trick mixing DJ competition in the world. It helped such DJs as Craze, A-Trak, Roc Raida (RIP), Q-Bert & Mix Master Mike rise to fame through their titles.

Really proud of Vajra! Earlier this May, we rocked shows in Boulder, Colorado and in Toronto & Ottawa, Ontario and even back then I could tell he was focused. He’s been working really hard this year and it’s great to see him achieve his goal. I wish him the best of luck at the US Red Bull Three Style finals on November 10th.
