The 2nd and 3rd weeks of my tour covered the Eastern provinces of Canada. That’s my hood. Definitely rolled thick over the past 2 weekends. First date was in Fredericton, NB for the FredRock festival. Played a gig with the Montreal homies Team Canada and Toronto up-and-comer Nikki Awesome. Fired up the BBQ and got busy. It’s summer, fool! The next night I played an afterparty for the festival. The festival itself was SOAKED. My homeboy DJ Shameless recently whipped up this remix which was essential. Party was probably my best one I’ve played in Fredericton. Big up Nicky Zee’s and of course Joel @ Elusive!
After a few days off with the fam, I checked back in for some gigs in Charlottetown and Halifax, the latter being a Canada Day celebration with Ghislain Poirier, one of my favorite Montreal artists. Charlottetown was (as expected) very hot and intimate. I’ve spoke many times of Baba’s Lounge. It’s like a house/kitchen party in a bar. So ill. And Halifax. Oh, Halifax. Sold out!! Such a great show. Ghislain rocked it and exposed some new exclusives and I batted clean-up and played the national anthem, among other things. Thanks to everyone that came out and the Paragon for hosting it!
